Canal Nav quietly rewards you for getting out on the water. Here’s how badges work – and how to share the ones you’re proud of.

Earn badges as you go
There’s nothing to sign up for. Canal Nav awards a brass badge for the things you do – your first saved route, miles cruised, a ring completed, a hazard you reported that helped another boater. Just cruise, and they arrive.

See your collection
Open Achievements from your account menu to see the brasses you’ve earned and what’s still locked, each with a hint on how to unlock it.

Share a badge you’ve earned
Tap a badge you’ve unlocked to grab a ready-made image and link – drop it in an email signature or a forum footer. It’s yours, personally: anyone who clicks lands on a page about that badge and can try Canal Nav for free.

Invite friends, earn together
Every badge link carries your personal invite, so friends who join are credited to you. When paid plans launch, a friend who subscribes to Plus earns you both a free month.
